Understanding how  Reviews are linked to your Campaigns:

Steer automatically links reviews to your review request campaigns. Here's a simple breakdown:

  • If a customer receives a review request, and later leaves a review within the campaign attribution period that review is attributed to the campaign. 
  • Only one review is attributed per a customer per a campaign. If a customer leaves multiple reviews then only the first review is attributed to the campaign.  
  • By default, the attribution period is 35 days but you can customize that for each campaign. See a help article here
  • Note: It may take up to 24 hours for new reviews to appear in your reports.

Manually Added Reviews Count Too: 


Sometimes Steer may not be able to automatically link a review to the correct Steer customer profile. This happens in cases like a misspelling or a different name being used on the review site. In this case, you can manually connect the review to the right Steer customer profile as shown here. As long as it's within the campaign attribution period, it will count towards your campaign's success.
