Engaging publicly with reviewers shows that you value feedback and helps demonstrate your commitment to excellent customer service. Read below to integrate your reputation sources such as Google, Facebook, and Yelp.
Note: Replying to reviews in Steer is currently available for Google reviews only. Stay tuned as we are releasing the ability to reply to Facebook reviews very soon!

Integrating Google with Steer
There are two types of Google Review Integrations in Steer:
- Indirect Sync
- Direct Sync (allows you to reply to reviews)
Indirect Google Review Integration
Your Steer platform comes pre-configured with our Indirect Google Review Sync. During activation our team set this integration up for you ahead of time to sync your Google reviews into Steer.
Direct Google Review Integration
The following Google integration allows you to respond to Google Reviews within Steer. Follow the steps below to set the direct Google integration up and begin responding to reviews in Steer!
You must be a Google Admin on your business profile in order to integrate your Google Business Profile in Steer.
- Login to Steer.
- Settings > Integrations.
- Reputation.
- Select Connect Google Business Profile.
- Click Go to Google to Connect.
Once connected you will see a message on the screen stating the profile is connected.
Please Note: There may be a small delay between integrating and being able to respond to reviews in Steer. This is normal and should not cause concern. Please reach out to our team if the delay is longer than 24 hours.
To begin replying to Google reviews, go to Platform > Reputation > Reviews, and select the review(s) you would like to respond to.
Integrating Facebook with Steer
The following integration does not yet support replying to reviews within Steer.
- Login to Steer.
- Settings > Integrations.
- Reputation.
- Click Go to Facebook to Connect.
5. The system will ask you to login to your Facebook account that the shop pages are associated with.
a. After logging in, select the pages that should be included in the Integration. This should include all shops
Please Note: For each shop page the steps from #4 should be repeated
Integrating Yelp with Steer
- Login to Steer.
- Settings > Integrations.
- Reputation.
- Scroll to the Yelp section.
- Fill in the required fields matching your business’ Yelp profile.
- Note: it is advisable that the information is entered exactly as it is displayed on Yelp.
- Save.
