Managing Steer User Text and Email Notifications

Enable email and text alerts for new messages, appointment, and reviews from Steer.

Email Notifications

Receive notice of new messages, appointment requests, and review alerts from Steer's CRM directly into your email inbox! 

Access:

Each Steer user can opt in to Email Notifications while logged into their Steer account by accessing their User Profile

In your Steer account, click Your Name in the Lower Left corner > My Account

Notifications:

Once you are on your User Profile, click Notifications from the Left Sidebar. 

You can turn Email Notifications ON (green) or OFF (gray) for the following: 

  • New incoming email responses from a customer 
  • New incoming text responses from a customer 
  • New incoming Appointment Requests from the AutoOps Scheduling Tool, Steer Scheduling Tool, Vehicle Profile or Reserve with Google
  • New Reviews from your configured review sources 
  • New Survey Response from a customer

Text Notifications

Text Notifications from Steer allow you to get on top of all new appointments, inbound messages, reviews and surveys by simply receiving a text message from Steer on your phone. A quick reply to a customer now at your fingertips!

Access:

Each Steer user can opt in to Text Notifications while logged into their Steer account by accessing their User Profile

In your Steer account, click Your Name in the Lower Left corner > My Account

In the Profile settings you need to add your Mobile Phone in order to start receiving Text Notifications. 

Once you've added the Mobile Phone to your account - you can enable Text Messages.

Notifications:

From your User Profile, click Notifications from the Left Sidebar. 

You can turn Text Notifications ON (green) or OFF (gray) for the following:

  • New incoming text responses from a customer
