Inbox Enhancements Release Notes - Sept. 2024

We’re excited to introduce the following updates as part of our inbox redesign, which includes AI-powered capabilities and more!

Unified Email and Text Inbox:

Seamlessly manage both emails and text threads in a single view. Messages from customers will remain visible, ensuring no conversation is lost.

We have reorganized the messaging folders. This is where you can find your messages:

    • Inbox: All conversations that contain at least one inbound message from the customer. Per your feedback, the message thread will now live in the inbox until you achieve it.

    • Sent: All conversions that contain at least one outbound message.

    • All: Includes all non archived message threads.

    • Scheduled: Shows messages that are scheduled and will be sent out soon

    • Archived: Conversations that are no longer active, with functionality remaining similar to before.

New Hide Campaign Preview Tab:

We’ve added a new toggle to hide automated messages (e.g., appointment reminders or campaigns). This is on by default, showing only your last direct communication with the customer. This keeps your inbox focused on live, direct conversations. If you want to see campaign previews in inbox or sent, simply turn the toggle off.

New Search Capabilities:

You can now search by message content or by customer name, simply select a choice.

Categorized & Collapsed Messages:

In the message thread, you can now see what campaign sent what message, and campaign messages have been collapsed giving you more space in your inbox

ShortCuts To Reporting:

Go directly to campaign reporting from your inbox to always know your metrics.

AI-Powered Responses with Steer AI:

  • Help Me Respond: Use Steer AI to draft quick quality replies. The AI knows the the conversation context and provides three options, with the ability to regenerate alternatives. 

  • New “Other Conversations” toggle previews last three messages and types (emails, texts, etc.) in a conversation with a customer, showing the last three interactions for each type.

Spam and Blocked Messages:

Block unwanted contacts to prevent receiving further messages. These will be hidden in the archive, but can be unblocked if needed.

These enhancements aim to streamline your workflow, reduce clutter, and help you communicate with your customers more effectively.
