How to Set Up Review Integrations in Steer (Google, Facebook, & Yelp)

Engaging publicly with reviewers shows that you value feedback and helps demonstrate your commitment to excellent customer service. Read below to integrate your reputation sources such as Google, Facebook, and Yelp.

Integrating Google with Steer

There are two types of Google Review Integrations in Steer:

  • Indirect Sync 
  • Direct Sync (allows you to reply to reviews)

Indirect Google Review Integration 

Your Steer platform comes pre-configured with our Indirect Google Review Sync. During activation our team set this integration up for you ahead of time to sync your Google reviews into Steer.

Direct Google Review Integration 

The following Google integration allows you to respond to Google Reviews within Steer. Follow the steps below to set the direct Google integration up and begin responding to reviews in Steer! 

You must be a Google Admin on your business profile  in order to integrate your Google Business Profile in Steer.

Integrating Facebook with Steer

The following integration does not yet support replying to reviews within Steer.

  1. Login to Steer.
  2. Settings > Integrations.
  3. Reputation. 
  4. Click Go to Facebook to Connect.

 

     5. The system will ask you to login to your Facebook account that the shop pages are associated with.

            a. After logging in, select the pages that should be included in the Integration. This should include all shops

In the case that the shop's Facebook pages are already connected, the message below will show, and you can simply click "Continue as Steer" OR if more Facebook pages need to be associated then simply click "edit settings" to pair additional pages.

Once the Facebook pages are paired, a message should appear  that shows the pages available.  At this point, select the shop that should be associated with this particular Steer shop by selecting the radio button and clicking "add" - once this is completed, you will see a success message

Please Note: For each shop page the steps from #4 should be repeated

Integrating Yelp with Steer

  1. Login to Steer.
  2. Settings > Integrations.
  3. Reputation. 
  4. Scroll to the Yelp section. 
  5. Fill in the required fields matching your business’ Yelp profile.
    1. Note: it is advisable that the information is entered exactly as it is displayed on Yelp.
  6. Save.
