Manual Vehicle Matching in Steer - Unknown Vehicles

Steer and AutoOps continue to optimize vehicle matching over time, however some models may come in un-matched due to the way they were entered on the invoice or appointment. This primarily affects makes with unique model names; such as Mercedes, Lexus, and others that use a combination of letters and numbers in their naming convention.

When looking in Steer, if you notice a customer's vehicle is marked as "Unknown" this may mean the vehicle failed to match to a recognized make/model in the Steer database. This could also mean the vehicle was not entered on the closed invoice.

You can easily manually match this vehicle, or add in a new vehicle, in order for Steer to properly recognize the vehicle year/make/model in regards to customer information and communication.
