In early February 2025, businesses across various industries, including automotive repair shops, noticed that the review count on their Google Business Profile appeared lower than expected.
Google is aware of this issue and is actively working on a fix. Based on reports, the reviews themselves are still present, but the displayed count may be inaccurate. You can verify this by checking your actual reviews and comparing them to the count shown on your profile.
If you have a review count discrepancy of more than 10 reviews, we recommend keeping an eye on updates from Google via their social media channels or communities that track these issues. If Google announces that the issue has been resolved but your reviews are still missing, please go to this forum and provide the following details:
- Profile ID
- A link to your business listing
- The approximate number of missing reviews
