How to View Data Across Multiple Shop Locations

The new Multi-Shop Dashboard in Steer puts puts the collective power of all your shops right in front of you, making it easier than ever to track what matters and plan for growth.

⚙️✅ Access: This option is available for Steer organizations with multiple locations and requires tenant owner access. If you don’t see it, ask your account owner to update your permissions.

We’ve built a powerful new dashboard to give our multi-shop owners a single, clear view of performance across all their locations.  

You can use this dashboard to spot trends, compare growth, and keep a pulse on key north star metrics.

Accessing the Multi-Shop Dashboard

You can reach your new dashboard in one of two ways, depending on where you are when you access Steer:

Route #1: Direct Access on Login (Your New Home Base)

If you are a multi-shop Owner, you will land directly on the Overview: All Locations dashboard when you first log in to Steer.

Route #2: Switching from a Single Shop to Multi-Shop View

If you are already viewing a specific shop's page, you can easily switch to the multi-shop dashboard by:

  1. Clicking the Location dropdown menu from the top-right corner.

  2. Selecting All Locations from the list.

This will take you to the Overview: All Locations page as seen in the image in Route #1. 

 

Understanding the Multi-Shop Dashboard Metrics

The Multi-Shop Dashboard provides valuable insights and metrics for all of your shops on Steer. Use this dashboard to spot trends, compare growth, and keep a pulse on key north star metrics.

Key Features of the Multi-Shop Dashboard:

  • Custom Shop View: View data for all of your shops at once or select specific shops to view.
  • Custom Date Ranges: Select specific dates for precise reports.

  • Quick Date and Time Presets: Instantly filter by "Last 7 Days," "Month to Date," or as specific as by the "Minute" and "Hour." 

  • Dynamic Visualization: Watch your graphs update in real-time as you adjust your time parameters.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The first section shows your top-level metrics, calculated across all your locations for the selected time period. Each metric also has a "compared to" metric so you can track performance over time.

  • Total Appointments: The combined number of appointments booked across all your shops. Use this to quickly monitor overall activity and customer demand.
  • Average Invoice Value: The average dollar amount of invoices across all your shops. Tracking this helps you understand the overall value of your services.
  • Total Revenue: The total revenue generated by all your locations. It is your primary metric for tracking overall business growth.
  • Average Review Rating: The combined average of customer review ratings for all your shops. It provides a quick way to monitor overall customer satisfaction.

 

Metrics Over Time (Trends)

The bottom sections of the dashboard features graphs that visualize your performance over time. You can use the date filters at the top of the page to analyze monthly, quarterly, or custom date ranges.

Appointment Count Over Time: This graph shows the trend of total booked appointments across your shops. Use this to track month-to-month activity and identify your busiest periods.

Revenue Over Time: This is a visual breakdown of revenue generated across all your locations. This helps you quickly spot growth, seasonal slowdowns, or the impact of recent promotions.

Review Ratings Over Time: This graph tracks the movement of your average customer satisfaction rating. Monitor this to see the impact of any customer service initiatives across your network.
